Job Description
  • Perform the detailed design of application and technology architecture components and classes.
  • Configure build and test the application or technology architecture components and classes.
  • Work with other developers designers and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.
  • Create automated unit test scripts and use them as part of a continuous integration development process.
  • Perform code profiling by using appropriate tools to confirm coding compliance with application development standards.
  • Check code coverage of unit and assembly tests and ensure it meets expectations.
  • Document the code during development to ensure maintainability.
  • Document changes to the code for traceability and update the traceability matrix or other requirements tracking tool.
  • Inform the technology architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project."
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Education –  At least graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related course.
  • Related Work Experience – At least 4+ years of working experience in developing websites, web applications, web services, or mobile applications.
    • Understand software development life cycle (SDLC) and Object-Oriented Programming.
    • Experience in Object-Oriented design and programming skills.
    • Experience in HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript frameworks.
    • Experience in MySQL, MongoDB, or similar database management systems.
    • Experience in web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
  • Knowledge –  Knowledgeable in the following:
    • Knowledge in any integration protocols like SMPP, UCP, and HTTP, and others.
    • Using version control (e.g. SVN, Git).
    • Debugging and optimization skills.
    • Server-side setup (Linux/Windows).
    • Web to mobile integration.
    • Java, Python, AWS, and .Net is a plus
  • Skills:
    • Must have strong analytical skills, highly detailed and process-oriented.
    • Must have strong communication and presentation skills in English and Filipino.
    • Must have strong business/client engagement skills.
    • Must be assertive, results-oriented, and able to multitask.
    • Must possess strong negotiation skills.
    • Must have strong interpersonal skills   
    • Must have the ability to work with minimum supervision and be able to guide new team members.
    • Must be adept to work in a fast-paced environment with tight SLAs.
