Project Managers

The Project Manager is responsible for organizing people and time resources and seeing the project through from inception to completion. The Project Manager coordinates people and processes to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. Develops detailed project plans, ensures resource availability and allocation, coordination, and completion of projects timely within budget and scope.

Job Description

 

  • Defines strategy and justifies the entire plan for the project (work plan, team structure, team process, stakeholder involvement plan, configuration management plan, management plans, and the like).
  • Executes & monitors the execution of the project plan in meeting the organization’s goal for project schedule, budget, and quality expectation.
  • Use metrics to monitor (EVM), analyze, and manage projects.
  • Reports an accurate project status internally to management and relevant customer stakeholders.
  • Manages client relationships and expectations for the duration of the project.
  • Handles change management and manage project issues on time.
  • Ensures contracted product & work requirements are fulfilled.
  • In case of scope changes, process the change request and manage customer expectations.
  • Proactively identify risks & risk mitigation to improve project success.
  • Drives quality through the entire project life cycle by ensuring project adherence to process and tools (includes review activities by the PM).
  • Handles multiple projects simultaneously (in most cases).
  • Drives root cause analysis (RCA), continuous improvements, and other activities that will prevent project failures or improve delivery success (both internally for the team, or external dependencies).
  • Responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets.
  • Builds and manages project teams, reports to the project sponsor, and ensuring quality control throughout the project life cycle.
  • Facilitates the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or areas progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
  • Defines service levels and customer requirements.
  • Interact regularly with existing and/or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery.
  • Presents oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
  • Works cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
  • ther job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications/Requirements

 

Education

  • At least graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related course.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL®) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification a plus.

Related Work Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience as an IT Professional, with 3+ years’ experience in Project Management.
  • Experience in handling complex projects following SDLC methodologies (Waterfall).
  • Experience in handling web and mobile applications
  • Experience in deployment and release management.
  • Experience in MS Operations.
  • Previous experience in handling 10 to 15 man roster projects.
  • Proven experience working on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Must have experience in Product management.
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality

Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge in the following:
    • Project Management
    • Resource Management
    • Developing and Tracking Budgets
    • Process Improvement
