Process Engineers

The Process Engineer is responsible for the standardization of delivery-related processes of the organization (e.g. sales, software development, application support, vendor management, and the like). The role is responsible to streamline the processes of affected business units against best practices and known international standards to ensure readiness and compliance of the business units on the agreed-upon process.

Job Description

  • Works with the PMO to develop the IT Project Standards guide, seeking contributions from Project Managers, QA Team, Development Team, and Service Implementation Lead to ensure that the standards meet best practices. 
  • Organizes workshops to identify areas of improvement for projects, documenting recommendations and presenting them to the PMO Head. 
  • Creates a repository of project templates both technical and management to support the Project Managers – use examples from current and past projects to identify best practices. 
  • Improves processes and templates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implements project standards across all projects in the portfolio.
  • Updates and administers the program plan as required using reports from Project Managers and the outcomes of the project and board-level meetings and workshops.
  • Manages communications from the PMO mailbox including regular reporting cycle requests. 
  • Prepares consolidated material from project reports for monthly review - Complete and distribute monthly portfolio level reports. 
  • Standardize Processes through gathering the best practices from the delivery groups, standardize, and publish to the organization. 
  • Conducts process training through roll-out institutionalized processes, training history record-keeping, and continuous training for new hires or promotes. 
  • Performs delivery review and conducts timely review/audits of project implementation against the organizational process.
  • Analyzes root causes on delivery problem areas, and driving process-related improvements to address problems.
  • Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Education –  At least graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any related course.
  • Related Work Experience – At least 4 years of working experience in the same role.
    • A strong background in software development and application support.
    • Experience in implementing CMMi, ITIL, or ISO standards - Lean Six Sigma
    • Experience data visualization and data analytics.
    • Experience in performing a full audit cycle.
    • Experience in Document Control Management.
  • Knowledge –  Knowledgeable in the following:
    • Technical Writing Skills 
    • Business Process Documentation
    • Process Workflows and Mapping 
    • Must have an understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and application support.
    • Must know about performing full audit cycle.
    • Must have working knowledge/experience in document control management.
    • Must have working knowledge/experience in project management Lean Six Sigma.
  • Skills:

    • Must have strong communication and presentation skills in English and Filipino.
