Portfolio Managers

The Portfolio Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the delivery of products, platforms, & services of the company. The Portfolio Manager oversees the Program/Project Managers assigned in the planning, implementation, tracking & monitoring of activities of projects.

Job Description
  • Consolidates and analyzes project updates to effectively monitor projects of the enterprise.
  • Analyzes and provides summaries for organizational performance metrics
  • Monitors delivery of all projects according to approved and agreed baseline plans and standards.
  • Supports the EPMO Portfolio Analysis & Demand Manager in critical meetings for priority projects with WGM and business heads and support group heads for updates, business implications of developments, and relevant issues, risk management and resolution of issues that could have implications to revenues and strategies.
  • Ensures that a project has the appropriate budget approval before proceeding to implementation. In case of deviations, ensures that callouts are made on the decision to deviate.
  • Ensures that projects are properly closed-out and important documentations are in place.
  • Shares reports on lessons learned to project team members and supports discussions on insights and implications to future project management
  • Participates in regular meetings with stakeholders on portfolio progress and issues
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Educational Background – minimum qualification – graduate in any field |preferred – Postgraduate / MBA in project management or related field
  • Work Background / Experience
    • Experience of managing complex project and product development
    • Knowledge of managing agile methodology
    • Experience working in Agile environment
    • Experience of managing resources with different skill set for agile delivery methods
    • Experience working collaboratively with a diverse business and IT teams
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

    • Has technical proficiency and development background
    • Experience in financial technology vendor or a large financial institution
