Marketing Specialist - Content Marketing

The Marketing Specialist that will focus on CONTENT takes the lead on researching, planning, creating and curating, publishing, measuring, strategizing, and optimizing the company's/brand's/platform's content.

  • Spearhead content creation covering but not limited to newsletters, blogs, articles, video, infographics, presentations, interviews, testimonials, case study, whitepapers, website content, landing pages, SEO, webinar, and social campaigns.
  • Develop an editorial calendar to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Publish content through various channels covering but not limited to website, email, social networking sites, and online communities to ensure a strong web presence.
  • Ensuring content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, tone of voice, and quality.
  • Grow our web traffic through content by utilizing the planted SEO keywords.
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that is aligned with their needs and interests.
  • Track and measure content performance on a regular and ongoing basis, considering SEO and analytics then optimize the content strategy.
  • Develop and track email campaigns to ultimately increase our business' email marketing success.
  • Channel management of digital content hubs, receive and manage customer feedback and inquiries to increase customer engagement.
  • Join, manage, and engage in new channels covering but not limited to online communities and forums related to company products and services following our target market.
  • Collaborate with different internal stakeholders and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Filipino.
  • Ability to analyze and present content and social performance.
  • A dual-minded approach: creative and excellent writer but can also be process-oriented and data-driven in making decisions.
  • Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, and the top social channels.
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience.
  • Expertise in social media platforms.
  • Has a thorough knowledge of various online objectives and initiatives (e.g. link building, SEO, keyword utilization, web traffic, content syndication, etc.)
  • Proficiency in WordPress or other Content Management Software.
  • Knowledge of the latest design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Canva is a plus.
  • Project management skills and attention to detail.
  • BS Marketing, Journalism, or relevant field.
  • At least 3-year experience as a content writer in a digital setting only.
  • At least 2-year experience as an SEO writer.
  • Soft skills: social skills, the pulse of the street, in¬-the-¬know, upbeat with trends and technology savvy, plugged ¬in lifestyle, has a strong sense of accountability, excellent communication skills, mature, driven and committed to delivering results, self-starter and proactive.
