The Marketing Officer identifies and analyzes the product’s strengths and weaknesses, responds to opportunities and threats in the marketing environment by developing and implementing appropriate strategies, campaigns and other relevant projects to meet target metrics as assigned by the Marketing Manager. This person executes online and offline plans for advertising, branding, lead generation, and public relations.
Assist in market testing (e.g., product features, pricing, prototypes). Analyze results and provide insights and recommendations to strengthen the market positioning and penetrate the market.
Assist in establishing marketing goals that increase the share of the market and, as a result, drive revenue and profitability.
Ideate and coordinate with the marketing design and content team. Assist in the creation of SEO, content, and design strategies.
Oversees the product marketing campaigns, both internally and externally, and plays a vital part in communicating its marketing message.
Actively takes part in the conception of lead generation campaigns to planning and production, down to implementation and post evaluation, and when needed, follow-throughs. Spearhead lead management.
Actively participate in the development and optimization of our digital strategy and platforms.
Monitor digital ad campaigns' performance and report on performance metrics consistently and proactively recommend adjustments on channels including but not limited to search, social, email, display, and affiliate.
Plan and manage marketing events as agreed within budget and timescales, supervises marketing materials, writes and proofreads copy, and liaises with designers, printers, and content managers.
Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or relevant field
Related Experience – At least 2-year experience in traditional and digital marketing, events management, community management, social media marketing and public relations; A dual-minded approach: highly creative but can also be process and data-driven to make decisions.
Skills – Proficiency in the following: SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook Ads, Social Media Tracking Tools, Content Management Tools (website, SMS, eDM, etc.), CPC, CPM, UTM tags, Google Drive Apps
Soft Skills: Strong social skills, pulse of the street, in the know, upbeat with trends, and technology savvy, plugged in lifestyle, has strong sense of accountability, excellent communication skills, mature, driven and committed in delivering results, self-starter and proactive.
