Learning & Development (Senior-Lead)


Responsible for the creation and delivery of customized, tailored training programs across the organization. Fundamentally assists in the organization’s success, by training, coaching and developing its people, and provides career growth opportunities through career development, career pathing, and competency development. Plans, directs, and coordinates programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, attitude and competencies of employees at all levels within the organization.

Job Description
  • Assesses individual, departmental and organizational learning and development needs.
  • Designs and creates training programs that are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Spearheads Yondu University plan by implementing out of the box initiatives and programs such as but not limited to BootCamp, Hackathon, Capability Build, Enablement.
  • Identifies skills gaps and future learning requirements.
  • Curate learning content and assess relevant learning and development options.
  • Considers relevance of blended learning options such as coaching, mentoring, on-the-job training, classroom training, e-learning and simulation. Make recommendations to decision makers.
  • Manages training budgets and forecasts current and future costs. Advises on the right course of action.
  • Evaluates success of learning interventions and reports to senior management.
  • Keeps abreast of latest learning and development products and approaches.
  • Works closely with various leaders across the organization to have full understanding of the nature and dynamics of their business and be able to recommend training interventions to address specific learning and development needs.
  • Designs and implements learning and development process from training needs analysis, training design, training implementation, training evaluation, and calculating ROI in training investment.
  • Implements various learning methods companywide through coaching, job-shadowing, cross-functional, job rotation, online/e-learning training.
  • Assesses the success of development plans (IDP/PIP) and help employees make the most of learning & development opportunities.
  • Monitors allocated budget and recommends solutions, interventions, course designs in order to implement the required training.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized
  • Strong in data management
  • Experience in the IT industry is preferred
  • Must have experience in implementing programs and initiatives similar to that of Yondu University
