IT Project Manager


Job Description


-The primary responsibility of managing medium to large projects. The role will lead project teams for internal and external initiatives at a local to global scale. The PM will interface, develop and manage strong working relationships with business units, external parties and regional/global partners in the completion of project milestones and successful achievement of objectives.


Key Accountabilities


-Develop business cases for projects which have been agreed as part of Digital Operations roadmap or other projects as assigned

-Manage structured projects in line with prescribed project management standards with a defined scope, ensuring project deliverables are brought in on time, within budget and quality targets -Responsible for motivating and leading project team members

-Provide input into the management of project budgets

-Prepare management reports for key stakeholders

-Liaison between project team, project owner, and key stakeholders

-Identify when projects appear to be deviating from plan or objectives and raise issues and proposed solutions with management; taking appropriate corrective action to ensure delivery remains on track

- Manage conflicting priorities involved with completing a project successfully.

-Minimize exposure and risks by identifying and proactively managing all risks and issues affecting the project, including financial and operational

-Mentor team members

-Support the execution and delivery of project management methodology and standards for Digital Operations

Experience in any of the following technical tools

-Windows or MAC Operating System Environment

-Microsoft Office Suite of Applications

-Project Management Software

-Development or Scripting Software

-BPMN or Workflow Modeling Applications

-Project Management Applications such as Microsoft Project and SharePoint

-Proven leadership & people/talent management capabilities.

-Demonstrated project management & planning skills; balances strategic skills with tactical execution skills

-Strong consulting, and negotiation skills; ability to function effectively within matrix management situations & under dynamic mandates

-Ability to be flexible and adaptable when dealing with change

-Strong analytical & metrics management skills

-Strong communication skills - verbal, written & presentation; ability to adapt content to various audiences; communicates effectively at all organization levels

-Proven interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships, engage and influence others, work with a diverse internal and international customer base

-Excellent in data collection, summarization and data analysis skills.

-Ability to work independently and act professionally at all times.
