Corporate Affairs Officer

The Corporate Affairs Officer focuses on highlighting the strength of Yondu as a company both internally and externally. He/she takes the lead on the reputational risks through effective communication by building up the employer branding of Yondu and positioning the organization as an expert in the IT industry. Through developing and implementing appropriate tactical strategies, campaigns, and other relevant projects to meet target metrics assigned by the Marketing Manager. This person strategically executes online and offline plans for Recruitment Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Employer Branding.

  • Creates a strategic plan and executes initiatives that promote the value of working in Yondu by attracting potential partners, employees, and clients.
  • Collaborates with Talent Acquisition Group in improving the retention of Yondu Talents
  • Analyzes smart research, results and provides insights and recommendations.
  • Ideate and coordinate with the marketing creative team (Content & Design) to support the strategic direction for CorpComm, Recruitment Marketing, and Employer Branding
  • Execute and monitor the Yondu Corporate Affairs campaigns and play a key part in communicating the key message.
  • Actively initiates the conception of stand-alone campaigns to planning and production, down to implementation, post evaluation, and when needed, follow-throughs.
  • Keep track of the performance of digital ad campaigns and report on performance metrics on a consistent basis and proactively recommend adjustments on channels including but not limited to search, social, email, display, and affiliates.
  • Plans and executes marketing events as agreed within budget and timescales, supervises the production of marketing materials, writes and/or proofreads copy, and liaises with designers, printers, and content managers.
  • Continuously build internal and external partnerships to strengthen Yondu branding, increase its share of voice in the market, and be the top of mind IT company in the Philippines.


  • Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Related Experience – At least 3-year experience in traditional and digital marketing, event management, community management, social media marketing, recruitment marketing and public relations; A dual minded approach: highly creative but can also be process and data-driven to make decisions.
  • Skills – Proficiency in the following: SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook Ads, Social Media Tracking Tools, Content Management Tools (website, SMS, EDM, etc.), CPC, CPM, UTM tags, Google Drive Apps
  • Soft Skills: Strong social skills, the pulse of the street, in-the-know, upbeat with trends, and technology savvy, plugged in lifestyle, has a strong sense of accountability, excellent communication skills, mature, driven and committed to delivering results, self-starter and proactive.
