Job Description
  • Interacts extensively with system owners and users to understand business requirements.
  • ​Analyzes business requirements vis-à-vis existing processes and systems.
  • Prepares detailed functional/system specification documents for software applications.
  • Proposes optimized design and solutions for new or existing systems with efficient and potentially reusable solution design of software flows and modules.
  • Proposes alternative solutions that meet client requirements as well as ensure technical feasibility.
  • Works closely with application developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Tests developed systems to ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Supports Dev and QA teams to review their artifacts to ensure the right requirement is being implemented.
  • Facilitates user acceptance testing activities and ensures high satisfaction rating from clients.
  • Analyzes incidents encountered in live operations and determines corresponding system enhancements required.​
  • Elicits, defines and develops BSA deliverables for small, non-complex initiatives.
  • Gathers and analyzes information and suggests options to address and resolve business issues.
  • Collaborates with business partners, external vendors, coworkers, leadership teams, to implement improvements.
  • Within area of expertise, provides technical guidance concerning business implications resulting from change.
  • Identifies and mitigates risks as part of elicitation to enable creation of application risk assessment and risk based testing.
  • Creates and manages application risk assessment, and resolves issues related to requirements.
  • Provides input to user documentation, training and rollout of applications.
  • Assists in training users on new or enhanced applications.
  • Partners with users and peers in planning, developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications.
  • Analyzes and documents business processes.
  • Reviews high level design, test strategy and test plans and ensures they align with overall requirements.
  • As needed, prepares test strategy, test plans and implementation plans.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Minimum Education Required Graduate of a 4-year college course preferably in any of the following fields: IT, computer science/engineering, Mathematics, Business
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant experience
