Business Readiness Manager

The Business Readiness Manager is responsible for the controlled realization and implementation of changes,
avoiding unnecessary interruptions of the continuity of the business process. The Business Readiness Manager is
also responsible for managing risks.

Job Description
  • Conducts market analysis, gathers essential data, ensures business data, compiles into reports, which managers and shareholders can use. Supports the successful running of the change management process, supporting the day-to-day activities required to undertake the process governance, controls, and reporting.
  • Plans, designs, and implements complex change programs across all phases of the change lifecycle. Designs and implements change deliverables in all categories of the changing architecture (e.g., change strategy and management, stakeholder engagement, skills and knowledge, culture transformation) in support of change plans in the areas of process, organizational, communications changes, and training. 
  • Designs, develops, and delivers organization communications to support transformation initiatives, serving as the primary interface to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Drives the change management initiatives required end-to-end contributing to the culture of transformation and continuous improvement to enable value realization.
  • Requirements Management:
  • Reviews high-level business user stories (DSUS)
  • Gathers consolidates and analyzes detailed requirements from sponsor, stakeholders, and/or subject
  • matter experts (SME).
  • Conducts requirements walkthrough session/s with sponsors, stakeholders, SMEs, and project team.
  • Prepares detailed requirements documentation and ensures that all requirements are captured at the proper level of detail and within the prescribed standards/guidelines.
  • Ensures that all detailed requirements are delivered within project timelines.
  • Obtains sign-off/approval of detailed requirements from all required signatories.
  • Provides status updates to project manager for monitoring of requirements-related activities.
  • Ensures the latest requirements documentation is stored in the shared project repository.
  • Requirements Clarification:
  • Lead the respective teams for requirements clarification during development and testing phases.
  • Resolves callouts/issues related to business requirements, by liaising with stakeholders/SMEs and affected team/s.
  • Reviews and provides feedback on traceability of requirements to technical/testing artifacts.
  • Change Management:
  • Manages the gathering and analyzes  detailed requirements for change requests relating to change in scope/requirements.
  • Updates requirements documentation impacted by change requests.
  • Plans and manage the change management process
  • Spearheads the design and implementation of change deliverables in support of change plans
  • Manages change/project plan quality. This includes quality planning, quality assurance, and quality control.
  • Implements quality improvements and makes process adjustments to ensure quality improvement.
  • Manages change/project plan process, communications, and organizational and training. This includes
  • communications planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and administrative closure.
  • Conducts project performance reporting and project administrative closeout.
  • Oversees the design, development, and delivery of process maps, PPM, and work instructions
  • Oversees the design, development, and delivery of organization changes and communications to support
    transformation initiatives
  • Oversees the design, development, and delivery of training and curriculum development
  • Integrates process, communication, and training plans with change management plans
  • Develops stakeholder management plans, in advising the business organization for smooth transition change from the “as-is” to “to-be” end state regarding the scope and impact of the expected changes
  • Facilitates work sessions with multiple stakeholder groups, as required by the change plan, to drive and enable the changes
  • Performs ongoing impact assessments across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Establishes measurement approach and leads the development of the processes and tools to measure the effectiveness of change plans
  • Recommends solutions and approach to mitigate changes, risks, and business impacts in driving the change implementation, including managing resistance and stakeholder management
  • Drives best practices sharing, collaboration, and standards dissemination across process, training, organizational, and communications
  • Revises and improves change tools and templates to support and sustain transformation
  • Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education –   At least graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent.

  • Related Work Experience -  At least 5 years of working experience in end-to-end project management.  Experience in the Telco environment is a plus. Change Management and Certification is a plus.
