Business Readiness Analysts

The Business Readiness Analyst is responsible for providing support in conducting market analysis, gathering essential data, ensuring business  data, compiling into reports, which managers and shareholders can use. Business Readiness Analysts should have  exceptional communication, analytical and technical skills. The Business Readiness Analyst is key to supporting the  successful running of the change management process, supporting the day-to-day activities required to undertake the process governance, controls, and reporting. Supports the Business Readiness Manager and will act as deputy and proxy if necessary.

Job Description
  • Supports the key activities required to ensure that the performance of the change process is  measured and reported accurately. The Business Readiness Analyst will be key in proactively monitoring the change  process performance, managing exceptions, and errors, and seeing it through to successful completion or resolution.  The Business Readiness Analyst will be the first point of escalation for issues and will manage and coordinate  successful resolution, proactively managing upward escalations and communications. Lastly, the Business Readiness  Analyst will be key in maintaining, operating, and ensuring the integrity of the change process toolset, being champion for reporting and appropriate usage throughout the organization. 
  • Requirements Management:
  • Reviews high-level business user stories (DSUS) 
  • Gathers consolidates and analyzes detailed requirements from sponsors, stakeholders, and/or subject matter experts (SME). 
  • Conducts requirements walkthrough session/s with sponsors, stakeholders, SMEs, and project team. - Prepares detailed requirements documentation and ensures that all requirements are captured at the proper level of detail and within the prescribed standards/guidelines. 
  •  Ensures that all detailed requirements are delivered within project timelines. 
  •  Obtains sign-off/approval of detailed requirements from all required signatories. 
  • Provides status updates to project manager for monitoring of requirements-related activities. 
  • Ensures the latest requirements documentation is stored in the shared project repository. 
  • Requirements Clarification: 
  • Provides support to the respective teams for requirements clarification during the development and testing phases. 
  • Resolves callouts/issues related to business requirements, by liaising with stakeholders/SMEs and affected  team/s. 
  • Reviews and provides feedback on traceability of requirements to technical/testing artifacts.
  • Change Management: 
  • Gathers and analyzes detailed requirements for change requests relating to change in scope/requirements.
  • Updates requirements documentation impacted by change requests. 
  • Assist with the creation of change management strategy and plan, apply a structured methodology, and support  change management activities  
  • Documents change/project plan activities to ensure that the strategic change portfolio projects are properly  coordinated Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management (including training, development,  and deployment) activities into overall project plans  
  • Develops and maintains change/project plans to ensure sustainable change. Manages project change  milestones and timelines to ensure timely completion of project within acceptable risk and budget 
  • tolerance.  Ensures approval of all change plan deliverables in alignment with stakeholders 
  • Partners with the project team and stakeholders to lead the project execution/delivery and help project teams  maintain an overall project vision with supporting project plans. This is to ensure the project/change plan meets  expectations and drives desired behavior change, e.g. time, cost, scope 
  • Refines project execution and plans using change/project management standards and best practices
  • Conducts post-project reviews and make recommendations for continuous excellence in change strategy and  delivery 
  • Exercises strong team building, negotiation, decision making, problem-solving, and conflict management skills to ensure delivery excellence across all teams. 
  • Assess the change impacts of new initiatives from a process, organizational, communications impact, and  training required 
  • Contribute and develop process impact design  
  • Partner, contribute and develop organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities. Prepare  talent assessment processes in support of org design and R&R shifts 
  • Partner, contribute and develop communications impact design  
  • Partner, contribute and develop training plans and ensure training is completed 
  • Conduct stakeholder readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings. Evaluate and ensure  user readiness 
  • Reviews readiness surveys of impacted stakeholders over project implementation to determine what  opportunities the project has to improve and identify how they are able to accelerate the change in the future - Reports on change plan progress, including modifications, risks, and issues 
  • Cultivates collection and development of best practices
  • Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Education –   At least graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience -  At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Knowledge –  Knowledgeable in the following:
    • Technical Writing Skills, Business Process Documentation.
    • Must have an understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies. 
  • Skills:
    • Must have analytical, detail, and process-oriented.
    • Must have strong communication and presentation skills in English and Filipino. 
    • Must have strong business/client engagement skills. 
    • Must be assertive, results-oriented, and able to multitask.
    • Must have strong negotiation skills and interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to work independently and with a cross-functional team.
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision and able to guide new team members
