Business Development Manager

 

This role is a sales person who creates opportunities for vertical : All Industry. He/She is expected to delivers growth on a bigger scale and a determined individual in achieving Yondu’s annual budget (target). This talent continuously finds new opportunities within the assigned cluster. Talents of this space are individual contributors and interested in sales and building relationships. Thus, a combination of Sales, Strategies, and Account Management skills are needed in this position.

Job Description

DISPLAYS

  • Develops strong customer relationships within the assigned market segments (FSI, Retail, Banking and Insurance) in order to generate high volume of prospective clients within these market segments.
  • Developing creative strategies to penetrate new accounts and/or manage the existing client base including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan.
  • Act as the “go-to” person from YONDU for the assigned market segment or cluster.
  • Ensures constant communication and updates within the assigned accounts/customers (Sponsors and Proponents)
  • Provides customer stakeholders on their requested information/report/data based on our engagement on a timely basis
  • Strong responsibility, self-motivated, able to work under high pressure and keen attention to details.

  • Obtain customers trusts and preferential treatment towards Yondu by: 
    • ​Providing on time updates and reports about the the progress of the project.
    • Liaise with clients for Collection Efforts to ensure that revenue posting is on-time.
    • Deciding on their behalf for issues concerning budget and resources allocation.

SALES/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TASKS

  • Participate actively in customers meetings ( for opportunities/ check point meetings)
  • Builds Proposals and ensure timely submission with the help from Yondu-SDG tech team.
  • Opens new engagements outside from the existing Globe accounts for ( Yondu Products, managed services, new projects, quick hits and other executions).
  •  Makes sure that budget (target) is on track and ensures profitability.
  • Responds to the client queries regarding the products in a timely manner and initiate meeting invites.
  • Explains to prospective clients about the advantages of the products or services offered and follow up with them in order to close the business deals.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT TASKS

  • Works with Customer’s Sponsors for their Plans and give recommendations to achieve their expected output but within budget.
  • Make follow-ups with Stakeholders for dependencies and escalate issues to immediate Supervisor.
  • Routing and filing of Engagement Contracts, Proposals and Service Agreement
  • Submits Handling reports, analysis and documentation.
  • Maintains a knowledge repository of clients, account history for decision making and future presentations.
  • Analyzes the current and past budgets, expenses, sales, revenues and service deficiencies for each account.
  • Responds to the client queries regarding the existing services of Yondu in a timely manner and initiate meeting invites.
  • Monitoring and tracking of Group (Globe team) revenue against the budget.
  • Provides Monthly revenue reports and submit necessary documents such as RFIs, RRFs and other documents needed by the support group from HQ.
  • Remains alert to additional business opportunities and lined-up competitors.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Communications or any University degree equivalent
  • Experience
    • 3 years (or plus) of experience in sales/business development
    • Proven track record of developing new businesses
    • A passion for sales and a drive to succeed
    • Experience in handling Telco account ( required experience)
  • Technical/Functional Skills
    • ​Must be able to operate Microsoft Office, Google Emails and associated programs.
    • Excellent communication and IT skills
    • Knows different IT Services offered in the market and related technologies
