Associate Product Director

The Associate Product Director is responsible for the PnL of the product portfolio that he/she leads; Develops new products, sets direction for the product go-to-market with the strategic objective to generate revenues for the Company.

Job Description
  • Revenue generation – Sets go-to market strategies for revenue generation; establishes distribution channels; Manages the product PnL
  • Product SME – For products that is directly handles, he acts as the pre-sales support to Sales; Helps Sales in crafting proposals/solution offering and close deals; Does client presentations with Sales; conducts product training;
  • Product viability - Maintains the competitiveness and relevance of the product – defines pricing and offering, draws the product roadmap and innovations.
  • Operational efficiency - Functionally oversees delivery operations that directly affect PnL.
  • Marketing and lead generation – Positions the product in the market. Generates passive and active leads. Provides sales collaterals – product decks and sales materials.
  • Expansion of product portfolio – launches new viable products (internally or through partner products) as new revenue streams for Yondu. Leads the growth of the products to becoming one of the core products of the company.
  • Partner Management – Establishes and manages 3 rd party partners – principals and vendors adjacent to the product; Leads partner selection and commercial terms negotiation; Partner accreditation and certifications
  • Equips the Sales team (Sales enablement); Ensures that the Sales team can effectively sell the product;
  • Leads product strategy, GTM, roadmap, research
  • Manages product managers/specialists to be able to perform/deliver the general responsibilities in Product Management. 
     
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Education –  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or equivalent disciplines
  • Related Experience – Minimum 4-6 years of solid experience in Product Management
  • Strength on B to B and B to B to C product marketing
  • Exposure on IT related product/services
  • Skills – Presentation Skills and Microsoft Office
