Appian Developers
Under direct supervision, design, develop, and implement medium-complexity business processes using the Bank’s automation platforms. Typically work with a team on one or more complex engagements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Evaluate user requests for Low-Code Development and Automation to determine feasibility and technical requirements
• Ensure timely delivery of modules with quality in compliance with coding standards and best practices set by the team and platform architects
• Conduct regular code reviews for the project
• Plan, develop, test, and document software, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems
• Work directly with clients to understand current capabilities, present technical options, and ultimately meet program objectives
• Work on medium-complexity modules and major bug fixes
• Build modular components and solve problems effectively with the available resources, only customizing the product when absolutely necessary
• Leveraging the Bank’s automation platforms or similar framework, advance technical skills by collaborating with peers and more senior members of the team to prepare to become a Senior Business Process Automation Developer
Education: Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related area.
Work Experience: Programming experience with at least two (2) years Skills,
Trainings and Certifications:
• Experience with the Bank’s automation platforms of at least three (2) years • Good understanding of workflow-based logic
• Knowledgeable in APIs and databases
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Specific for Appian:
• Basic knowledge on Java
• L1 and/or L2 Appian Certification
Non-negotiable Work Experience:
2 years solid experience in Appian and 2 years solid experience on leading/managing other developers in a project (as the Technical Lead).
