AOS Project Analyst

Job Description
  • Develop, maintain and use models to analyze variance and trend-based data, identify and communicate results to various stakeholders
  • Support Service Council and metrics reporting, including coordination, data collection, and analysis.
  • In collaboration with our partners, identify report requirements, design the solution, and deliver the expected results.
  • Ensure timely, accurate and effective information management processes are in place.
  • Perform ad hoc analytics to identify trends, prove theories, assess effectiveness, etc.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, data improvements and when approved, implement solutions.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Education:
    • University or other Post-Secondary education in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance or Mathematics)
  • ​Assets:
    • ​Experience with ChangePoint project / time tracking.
  • ​Skills/Competencies:
    • ​Analytical and problem solving skills with keen attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality deliverables
    • Advanced expertise with MS Excel is required—experience with Pivot Tables, lookups and macros for reporting and analysis of large, complex data sets
    • Experience and proficient with MS Powerpoint and MS Outlook
    • Knowledge of and interest in financial concepts and a passion for numbers
    • Initiative and creativity - ability to interpret requests which are not always clearly defined
    • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction and proven ability to successfully navigate multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
    • Good judgement in knowing when to escalate issues and proactively seek direction as needed to manage competing priorities and peak workload situations
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
