Customer experience has been the focus of enterprises in recent years. The satisfaction of clientele on how they have been serviced by the business has been found to have a profound impact on both brand affinity and sales acquisition. This is the principle that guided this year’s 15th ITIP National Conference 2018, with the theme “Innovate the Future: Defining IT’s Role in Building Great Customer Experiences”.
This year, Yondu was there to join in on the experience as a new member of the ITIP (IT Interaction Philippines). Our company was represented by the Yondu leaders Joan Penaflorida (President), Joy Go (Chief Technology Officer), and Ramon Hirang (Enterprise Solutions Head), together with the Business Development Director Edvel Duero, Marketing Officer Vienna Orlino, and Business Development Manager Beth Punay.
The conference is the annual gathering of the country’s experts in the IT industry and was held at Bai Hotel, Cebu City. Speakers in the event were composed of several leaders from IBM Philippines. Topics ranged from Cyber Resilience, Enterprise AI, Cloud Migration Strategies, etc.
Additionally, there were several “breakouts” at the different booth areas of the venue, where event participants can hear from several key players in the industry, including Lenovo, AMD Philippines, Trends & Technologies, Inc., Cisco, Globe Business, and Brother International Philippines, Corporation. Their fields of focus for discussions varied from booth to booth. Topics such as cyber security, digital transformation, and intelligence automation were discussed during these breakouts.
We certainly had a lot of fun learning during the two-day event. On to the next one!
